1. Contractual Relationship

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the access and use of the website mastercommerce.online and its associated services. By registering for any course or accessing our materials, you enter into a legally binding agreement with Master Commerce, founded by Oshan Mudunpitiya. If you do not agree to these terms, you must cease use of the platform immediately.

2. Intellectual Property Rights (Strict Enforcement)

All materials on this platform—including but not limited to video lectures, proprietary “Master Summaries,” PDF notes, and exam-focus techniques—are the exclusive intellectual property of Master Commerce.

  • Single-User License: Purchase of a course grants a non-transferable, limited license for personal educational use only.
  • Prohibited Acts: Users are strictly prohibited from recording, downloading (unless explicitly permitted), replicating, or distributing any content on social media, Telegram, or third-party websites.
  • Monitoring: We utilize Dynamic Watermarking and IP tracking. Any breach of IP rights will result in immediate account termination and legal proceedings under the Intellectual Property Act of Sri Lanka.

3. Enrollment and Financial Terms

  • Course Fees: Fees must be settled in full or via an authorized installment plan prior to gaining portal access.
  • Refund Policy: * Requests must be made within 36 hours of the initial transaction.
    • Refunds are only eligible if less than 10% of the content has been consumed and no PDFs have been downloaded.
    • Source-Only Credit: Approved refunds will be credited only to the initial payment source.
  • Administrative Fees: A non-refundable 5% processing fee applies to all approved refunds.

4. SMS Gateway and Communication

By providing your mobile number, you explicitly consent to receive transactional and administrative SMS notifications from Master Commerce. These include:

  • OTP (One-Time Password) for secure login.
  • Live class links and schedule updates.
  • Payment and enrollment confirmations.
  • Critical “Exam-Focus” alerts.
  • Note: Standard network rates may apply based on your service provider.

5. User Conduct and Portal Security

  • Account Integrity: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Account sharing is a violation of these terms and will result in a permanent ban.
  • Interactive Learning Decorum: Students must behave professionally during live sessions and in community discussion groups. Harassment, spamming, or the promotion of competing services is strictly prohibited.
  • Identity Verification: We reserve the right to request a copy of your NIC or student ID to verify your identity before granting access to professional-level (CA/AAT) materials.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Master Commerce shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the portal.
  • Service interruptions caused by external factors such as Sri Lankan ISP failures or power outages.
  • Data loss resulting from user negligence in securing their own accounts.

7. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the portal at our sole discretion, without notice, if we believe you have breached these Terms or engaged in conduct that is detrimental to the Master Commerce community or brand reputation.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via SMS or email. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
